Things aren't *too* abfab right now-- I just found out yesterday that I'll have to be at work at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow (since we have our commencement exercises, I'll have to handle some on-site media for live shots starting at 7 a.m.)...But, hey, it's my job, so I'll quit my whining! Not to mention, I get three glorious days off from work next week.

Anyway, the end of "College Daze" is coming along nicely-- I'm still trying to find a way to fit in some hot smex for you and icedragoncat. ^__~ We'll see what I come up with!

In other news, I am getting a new laptop this weekend, so maybe that'll help me motivation-wise...

And I'm excited to hear TLF is coming along well-- even with the standing and writing on the bus! Not to mention, with a name like TLF, I'm definitely intrigued...

Aw man, your poor weekend! ;_; HOWEVER, I gotta admit, in some ways I'd rather have an early morning, so it gets the work out of the way ASAP, and then you DO end up with two days off this coming week! :D That isn't so bad--plenty of time to get other things done at home! (And your mum's due in soon, isn't she? :D Yay!!!!!)

So, while it's a lot of work, and early, you have a LOT to look forward to after, so you'll get to feel like you earned it! (Which makes it that much better!) ^_^ So kudos--things are gonna go your way by tomorrow afternoon/evening, and you can sit back and enjoy the sunset with a tequila sunrise and a sense of accomplishment. ^_~ (And a new lappie! BoNUS!)

Things went fine this weekend-- the AVP of our division even called after he saw the 7 a.m. shot and said I did a great job. And getting up at 5 a.m. isn't that bad-- I've had to wake up a helluva a lot earlier for other live TV shots (like 3 a.m. for example). And I was done by 2 p.m., so I had the entire afternoon/evening to relax.

And mom's in town this week-- we went to SeaWorld yesterday with my cousins and had a great time. I fed dolphins and stingrays (I don't care if it's for little kids, it was cool!)...And today we're heading downtown to get my wedding dress and do some sightseeing (she hasn't seen downtown San Diego since she moved away about three years ago and it's changed a lot).

Anyway, I'm getting my lappie today, too, so hopefully I'll have the end of "College Daze" ready for your perusal sometime this coming-up week.

It's always nice when the major catastrophies decide NOT to strike--particularly when working weekends. XD Congrats on the good job! Also, I hope shopping for The Big Day dresses w/ your mum was just as much fun as feeding the 'rays. ^_~ (Hell of an itinerary you've had, eh?)

Good luck w/ adapting to the new keyboard (haha!) and as always, enjoy the writing ('cause it ain't worth it otherwise, damnit--you're amazing when you're 'on', and you've worked hard! XD). :)
