Kurt had planted himself on one of the outer spots of the four-seater sofa, though it hadn't exactly been by choice at the time. He had been aiming to go get a drink when he felt a bit woozy so he sat down before he could do anything completely embarrassing like pass out in front of people and terrify them. He really didn't want to scare his friends, even if he had an awareness that was inevitable right now. Hell, he was absolutely petrified himself, but doing a very good job of keeping the masks up. He stayed in that spot and just decided to watch the goings-on around him. Right now, he just needed the people he loved around him, and he needed it to be fun. No freaking prayer circles or vigils allowed, or bitchslaps would be earned.
He had done his best to try and dress up for the occasion, but even that took too much effort. He was neat, and the colours matched. That was going to have to be about the extent of it. He didn't know when he would see all his friends together having fun again... and there was a horrible niggle in his gut that maybe he wouldn't see them like this again. Tonight had to be special, and he was damn sure not going to let feeling crap stop that.
