My friend just showed me this challenge to read 250 books that Rory mentioned on Gilmore Girls. I know I can never possibly finish it, but it is just so cool that I have to give it a try!
Wow, is Rory a bookworm? :) If yes, then I may move Gilmore Girls a bit up on my to-watch list, because now I'm really curious to see how these books are mentioned there! :D And because I love lists and challenges, I think I'm going to steal it from you and try reading them myself :)
Oh my goodness, yes! She ALWAYS has a book on her, the more difficult the subject the better. She even brings a book to her school dance even though she has a date lol. You definitely need to watch the show. It's one of my favorites, my friends and I are always quoting it.
Yay! There are definitely a lot of must-reads on this list. I wish I had more time to devote to completing it...
That's amazing! Now I'm sure I will love it, if only just because of the books :D Darn, I have to find some time to start watching it, lol.
I always feel like I have to little time to read what I want. I noticed that I read some books from the list, too, but there's also a lot of them that I was supposed to read for the classes or in high school, but never did xD
Yeah a lot of my "started but never finished" books were school reading assignments. Oops.
Edit: Make that only two of my uncompleted books, one of which we were only assigned selections from anyway, and EIGHT of my completed ones. I did better than I thought lmao!
I was doing really well at reading for fun during the first half of the year when I was just working because I would spend my breaks absorbed in a novel. Now I am swamped with school and my life consists of reading case law 24/7 while Clash of Kings sits half-read on my nightstand. *le sigh*
