I passed the New York State Teacher's Exam with flying colors. I have an apartment in NYC on the corner of 143rd and Broadway, my lease starts June 15th. I will be done with college in 3.5 weeks. NYC Teaching Fellow training begins June 18. Everything's happening so fast. I love and hate this school all at the same time. My friends are awesome

Congratulations! That all sounds really great! I would love to live in new york... well I lived 45 blocks from there (98th and broadway) for 3 years. Anyways, good luck with everything! You have great-sounding plans!

I am in Chile now... I have been in Santiago for 2 weeks and will be heading to Valpo/Vina on Saturday... I will be working in Valparaiso, but I will probably find a place to live in Vina - I dont have a place yet! Did you do somethng with Un Techo Para Chile? They have alot of ads here for it.

Like you, I was rejected from TFA (found out today on election day), and so now I'm REALLY hoping to snag a NYCTF acceptance so that I can teach math in New York.
