Facebook (social media) is a lot of noise, and more often than not filled with pointless kitten meme's, only 30% of which will actually make you smile.

Despite my dire tale of the evils of social media and smartphone addiction, it remains true that every now and then, one of these memes will come across and answer our most pressing questions, even the ones we did not know we were asking.

It's so much easier to say these things than it is to do them, but good on you for beating at least one such beast into submission.

I have been in the position where friendships have fallen apart. It is so deeply foundation-shaking. I'm glad you've come to realize that not all friendships are *meant* to last forever. :)

I really like that facebook quote, too.
