A lot of people tend to ask me when, how and why I got online.. and more specifically the history of my blogging. The internet and blogging is so much a part of me, I can't imagine life without it. So, I decided to write a little story of when I first went got online.... until present day :)

Great post, Bev! My acquaintance with Internet happen in 2000 when I went to study in the USA as an exchange student. At first I couldn't comprehend how it works the way it does, but after a week or so I got pretty much addicted (till now :)) However, I try not to expose much of my personal stuff online, cause it freaks me out that one day when I'm famous or smth someone could use it against me.

Thanks to Internet and LJ I met you and from you I got to know about the Dolls and now look what a website we have ;)

Internet is super powerful, but one shouldn't substitute real live (offline) face-to-face interaction with online illusions.

Haha yeah the internet is so dangerous cos it's addictive.. and yes, you're another friend I met online! It's crazy how 80% of my friends I first met online... i would be quite friend-less without the internet, I think, haha

Oo I wonder if I read discombobulated, the name sounds familiar!! So either I read it, or someone else had a website called that :P

Ahh the notepad/ftp days... it feels so old school now haha!

I definitely wasn't such an internet geek like you :P My first encounter with the Internet was probably with ICQ and IRC. I had a website on Geocities - OMG you made me remember about it

Yes I remember ICQ!! I had a 7-digit number which I was so proud off haha. Ahhh the Geocities days, they feel like so long ago now!

I think it's awesome that's it's been so long! The internet/blogging has changed so much since.. but overall I think it's for the better, so many more cool blogs to read now :)

OMG! This post makes me feel so nostalgic...

I first got to know you via MUA - We swapped! I forgot what I got from your end but I remember doing some CP from Stila for you. And then I started reading your blog from there on.. and still reading today. :D

Hehe do you still like Stila? I definitely still do, but nowhere near the crazy makeup-mad levels i used to be at!

I hate to admit this but maybe it's age that's catching up with me ? I used to love swapping and MUA is a daily must visit. But after graduation and having started working, I seem to be alot less obesssed (I use to buy all those Stila trio e/s and LE collectables!. :P do you still swap? I remember you were a zealous reviews writer during those days! *LOL*

I still love makeup(Stila included!) and skincare - I think it's the vain streak in me .... but I am lazy these days. I don't try alot - I just zoom into those highly-raved aabout products instead.

But with that said, a nice pretty blush or e/s palette still makes my heart skips alittle.
