Closed: Fay - All I want for Christmas is a hangover.

Having a birthday close to Christmas sucked. Like, it sucked a lot. Between the Witch Weekly party, shopping, dealing with his sister, and work, he hadn't actually properly celebrated beyond a tiny dinner with his family and a cupcake from Natalie. So he'd done what any self-respecting person his age would: he took a night to get properly blitzed ( Read more... )

Fay had been amused to hear from Jake again with the details of his playing. Sure it was Christmas Eve, but she didn't have anywhere to be until the morning, so why not throw on a killer outfit and go watch?

Of course watching meant a few drinks too, and then a few more, until the next thing she knew was the blaring of an unfamiliar alarm and the feeling of someone climbing over her in bed.

Wait.

Carefully opening her eyes, Fay looked up at the body over hers, following it to a more familiar face. "Merry Christmas?"

As the alarm cut off, Jake dropped his arm from the stretch toward the bedside table to the bed by Fay's head. At least she was attractive and he knew she wasn't obnoxious.

"Merry Christmas," Jake laughed. Ducking his head, he rolled off of her. "Not a bad way to ring that in."

"Could be worse." What? Like she was about to out and out compliment him just now. "Not that I'm complaining about being here, and I promise to get to the awkward and the 'what happened?' bit once I can think of more than my head, but please tell me you have hangover potions here?" Fay asked, rolling onto her side to look at him, ignoring where the covers fell for now.

"When you get over the black out, you'll be properly impressed." When he laughed again, always glad when whomever ended up in his bed could joke in the morning, he trailed off in a groan.

Yeah, hangover potions were going to be a necessity.

"Bartender," he told her with emphasis that said it should be obvious. He always had hangover potions. The few times he'd ran out were miserable enough for him to keep better track of them. Looking back over at her, Jake couldn't help watching the way the blankets fell, reminding him exactly how much she wasn't wearing.

Yeah, Fay looked good in clothes. But Jake damn well appreciated her topless. Clearing his throat, he brought his eyes back up to her face.

"Drawer in the table beside you."
