Lucia Moretti, works for Torchwood from 1968-1977 (almost 10 years), before she takes their daughter away. AND THEN SHE DIED OF NATURAL CAUSES IN 2006. This immediately makes me think of what Ianto said earlier. Also, that Alice said he stood over at her mom's funeral...but it was recent. I didn't think that would be it. Shit though...a Torchwood employee he had a long relationship with, a daughter, that made it out, and died recently. My brain is still computing.

Yeah, I think it has to be pre-series...does that work with the time line as we know it?

So I'm guessing the mom died before Ianto joined TW 3...Hmmm....lots of thoughts.
