Okay I've got a question.. I've had Ickaba for almost a year or so, and I had him in a tank that was about 6.6 or so gallons or around that (Its a bookshelf tank from petco) and he was hiding alot wouldn't come up or out to eat at all so he's gotten really skinny, and his tail is all but gone again (tail biter).  So I've put him in a five gallon

More than likely age has caused the arch w/ perhaps the poor appetite.
