Talking with Mom.

May 13, 2007 00:21

I had a nice little chat with my mother earlier today. I love my mother. Especially now that things are better between us. She even helped me look for pins to hang up my Rino poster. ♥ She doesn't quite understand my footie obsession, but I think that she's learning to accept it.

Awwww Paolo!

Awwwwww, hearing about people talking to their parents, in a civilized and lovely manner, always makes me happy. :)

Hahaha. No, I just love anything cute and I like aww-ing. And yeah, I don't get bored of adorable things because they just melt my heart and haskdjfhaskfh.

If this is only with a picture, imagine me when/if I have kids of MY. OWN. I LOVE KIDS. *FLAILS* I'm going to be an auuuuntie sdhfjkashdfkjasd.

My mom just kind of lectures me about getting a well-paid job, getting a good house, don't get a boyfriend until I can handle it/when I'm older, you know, that kind of thing. >___>

Oh, and since I'm trying to get a graphics post in before I go to bed, link me to a couple of Tim Horton's pictures you want me to icon. I tried looking for some, but didn't like them. :\

I'll answer some of your questions tomorrow - as I'm an attorney but work in the Professional Services world. There are lot's of needs for lawyers that aren't at law firms these days. Too tired tonight but promise to let you pick my brain tomorrow or any time :-)

Thanks Kelly, you were on of the people I had in mind when I wrote the post. :)

Having been thinking about med and/or science most of my life, I know nothing about Law!

LOL. *snuggles my mommy* She helped me with my Rino poster, which was absolutely "awwwww" and ;asdjfasjfsdfj of her part.

Don't worry, it's all good. What are you studying in?

My icon, yeah, the Metzelly. My OTP. Soon to be broken up, *sheds a tear* Oh Christophe, why, why, why?

She's being open, albeit very eye-rolling-so-that's-where-all-your-time-and-money-goes condescending.

Wow, a med student! *bows to you*
Physics is the bane of my existence. Our education program is forcing me to take THREE Physics courses even though I'm in Health Science at Cegep (an invention of the Quebec government. It's two years, equivalent to the last year of high school and the first year of university, in another institution altogether.) I mean, why on Earth would I need to take Electromagnetism????

Biochem is lovely, but it's really hard to find a job here. And since I don't want to teach... I'm not entirely sure that I'm ready to give up Biochem in university yet.

They better!
Although I secretly can't wait to hear Metze speak Spanish. With a German accent!

*le grand sigh* It's absolutely heart-squishing that you can have these kind of converstaion with mummy. I'm terribly happy for you (that you have this wonderful women in your life to guide you without breaking your sanity) and kind of jealous...actually, very jealous. But that's only because Sundays are the bane of my existence and we won't get into that now ( ... )

I'm so happy too! My mom has really changed for the better in the last few years. Not that she wasn't great before, but she used to be much more...temperamental. Irritated. Non-calm in spirt. You know, that sort of stuff. But she converted to Buddhism a while back and she's so much more at peace and happy now ( ... )
