LOL. I'm really more worried about the hygiene and the smell, ya know.

Ah yes, the lines. Shanghai was so freaking crowded :P

But man, I miss the cheap-ass taxis!!! It was so luxurious to get chauffeurred around everywhere *_*

We went for dinner the other night and split the cabfare threeways---OMG IT WAS SO CHEAP. *cries* It'll be back to walking and bus-taking, once I get back home.

Yes, come to the East! There are actually quite a few Italians in this summer program of mine. (I'm in Beijing now.)

The pictures might have to wait...between Picasa and Imageshack being blocked in China (censorship, blabbership) and Photobucket being super slow to upload, I might not be able to post the pictures until I get back to Canada.

Pictures! Yay!

My only experience of hole-in-the-ground toilets is me bleeding from my period all over one. And missing the hole most of the time. IT SUCKED. And I so wish Montreal EVERYWHERE was as affordable. Then again, less population means the same profits need to be made with less customers... or something like that, no? Oh, and again best wishes to your sister. Did she somewhat recover, at least?

I seriously can't wait for pics. You're meant to be a tourist! :D

EWWWWW, that is gross. I've fortunately not run into so many hole-in-the-ground toilets as much as bidets-into-which-you-must-squat. Thankfully, the hotel has a traditional 'Western' toilet. Phew.

My sister is now perfectly fine. She continues to remain indoors surfing the net though. I blame my Dad's lack of touristiness.
