No idea what Summer of Code is but CONGRATS, THAT'S GREAT!! Always nice to be accepted :) Hope you get paid ;)

Yes, I get paid :)

Basically Google is sponsoring 1100+ students around the world to work on open source projects over the US summer. Each student has a mentor to advise them. It's pretty exciting!

Not a thesis. But it's a major project. When I've figured it out a bit better I'll explain it properly :)
