Definitely nicer than when I was in Vancouver!! I could see that it would be a stunning city in summer - and even now it still looks green - but when I went it was wet and dreary and bleak. Stanley Park is gorgeous, though, even in January! It's great that you got the chance to go and see it.

The sky was actually blue half the time I was there! And there was green! Grass and trees. It was wonderful. Such a change from Montreal. Today the sky is... white. And I can't see it very well because of the 25cm+ of snow that's falling out of it today.

That's the actual long call, not the time spent setting it up and making sure Dad's microphone was working and getting everyone connected. That would add another twenty minutes or so. And by the time we stopped it was 7:00 in the evening here and I was starving to death...
