I was going with hard-headed and set in the ways life has taught him how to be.

But now someone has used a bit of symtex to blow holes in his walls and he needs to figure out how to stem the invasion... or just surrender to fight back later :-)

Well, that, too. That's my defense for Nico as he is in Situation. He might be a jerk sometimes, but he admitted why he did that. He hasn't let anyone close in a long time because he knows it hurts, and he keeps people away so that he won't hurt them.

Yes, they have. He needs to figure out how to cope with the loss of his walls.

I'm pretty much brand new to the fandom (though I've been watching the show all summer) and you effectively gotten me hooked. Your story is very good, very entertaining, and this last chapter just a bit heartbreaking. I can't wait for more. Thanks so much for sharing!

Two things. One this fandom has completely altered the connotation of the phrase "Tuesday night". It was once so innocent, and now I can't help but giggle. It just makes me think of Dani and Nico.

Secondly, with the fight at the restaurant all I could think while reading is that that was such a "man" thing to do. Nico my be tall. dark, handsome, and in general just damn sexy, but he is still a guy. Sigh

Do you think Frank and Xeno would have an issue with "talking" to their boss?

This chapter had me hurting for Dani. I think I said Nico was an idiot in the other chapter. He's even more of one here. He is going to have to make it up to Dani somehow.

Xeno & Frank? And Tony later? No. They wouldn't.... as long as it was relatively respectful.
Just because Nico is tall, dark, & scary doesn't mean he is to everyone... he respects his men... loyalty is a two-way street and he gets that.

Besides, protecting Dani... I have a feeling keeping her sane and safe, even the players would side against Nico at times. :-)
