Hugh had hurried back as fast as he could, but had not been expecting the sight that met him to be one of an empty room. Furniture aside, there was no sign of the little girl. Did he actually do something? That madman, even in 'text' he hadn't sounded like he was right in the head.

Five minutes, she was only out of his sight for five minutes. How could he let this happen?

"Hannah? Hey, Hannah! You around? You can come out now!"

Hannah heard her name being repeated, from who seemed to be Hugh. She strained to her from where he was calling from. Instead of searching for him, she decided to remain where she was.

"I'm over here!" Her pitchy voice created a slight echo within the hallway. A slight fear developed within the girl's heart as she didn't want to be noticed by anyone - or anything for that matter.

He almost missed her reply. Turning in the direction that he had thought it came from, Hugh hurried as fast as he could. What was she thinking, just leaving like that when he had told her to wait? This mansion wasn't even a place for kids, so she shouldn't have been here in the first place.

"Call out again!"

It was hard to tell if he was close or not-- if she'd say something else while he was paying attention, he should be able to track her down.

"Here! Here!" She heard no other sounds within the hallway, aside from her own breathing and was able to relax a bit. Still, she felt uneasy standing in the stretching hallway. The awful sensation that something terrible would happen at any moment did not subside and so she remained weary.

"Please come soon!" She attempted to conceal her fear, but her tone was a blatant giveaway as to how she truly felt.

Grimmjow happened to be walking through the hallway. He'd finally gotten sick of waiting in his room for something to happen, and so he'd set off on a little adventure of his own. Though some idea had formed in his mind to come here. Grimmjow didn't know why here, specifically, but he figured it might be worth it.

"Of course I know Hannah," his voice continued to shake as he said this, "B-but there's no need to run off now."

Oh he was so much more confident when he wrote on the network, free to pretend anything. (And play with the font, that was fun, he had to admit.) But in person, and faced with such a daunting task, things were more difficult.

"H-h-hannah, don't go." He said, his voice weak.

Hannah stopped in her tracks. Something about his voice - it seemed familiar. She had heard it before. There was some sort of intimacy in the voice. She couldn't put her finger on it but knew that it was something.

"How do you know my name?" she repeated, now more confident. She was distanced from the strange and somewhat frightening man, and held her ground firm. A moment later, she asked in a gentler voice, "...how do you even know me?"

The fun times never ended, did they? Now there was this other guy, too. At least this one seemed suitably confused. "Out with it, already."

He didn't like feeling like he'd been left in the dark about something, but it was a feeling he couldn't shake right now. Did that old man have some sort of history with Hannah? Maybe he was a relative. And who was this new guy?
