[This is for anyone who would know (family, Kadaj, Eald, Chloe?, anyone who would try to keep up with him) that by now he's been found and drug back to the hospital (by Kadaj) to get better. He's still horribly sick but there isn't much of a way for him to keep people away other than griping their ears out (when he isn't coughing out a lung) since

A lot of people are sick.

[Kadaj leans against the wall with his arms crossed before he enters and takes a seat next to the bed, expression unreadable. He knows Giovanni is in no shape to leave. At least this is a distraction.]

I bet you hate being here. I hate it too. But first you need a drink.

[As if the child for once, Giovanni squirms a bit uncomfortably as he hears the other and he turns his head to look at Kadaj.]

It is nearly impossible for me to keep up-- [he pauses to cough lightly] I do not like being out of the loop.

[If Lorenzo were here there'd be irony to pay.]

We're always out of the loop. [Kadaj replies with a lack of any emotion and a shrug.] The only thing you need to know is, nothing outside of here applies to you until you recover.

[A smirk, almost as if he's enjoying this.]

[Giovanni hesitates. He doesn't like that tone, or look.]

It will affect me sooner or later. I would rather have knowledge of it ahead of time instead of playing 'catch-up'.

Hmmmm? [Giovanni peeked an eye open to glance at the doorway and then shifted slightly to gaze at Eald fully.]

Hemph.

According to everyone around me I am too stubborn for such an easy way out.

[When Ezio said he'd found out where there father was, it didn't take much to get him up and moving. When they came to the hospital he couldn't quite believe that's what it was. What he knew as a place of doctors and healing, was nothing like this. This place was huge, and so... strange. And empty.

But they soon find where their father is and standing beside his brother, if not placing his arm on Ezio's shoulder to lean a bit against him, he gives his father a chiding look. Worried about him, yes, but if he was still alive, he had faith his father would be fine. Stubborn old man he was.]

If he is awake, I hope he can hear how much worry he put us through! [Said in a teasing tone, but it was the truth. Among the nonsense going on with Knowlton, they had to worry about their father possibly dying all alone out there, since he was too stubborn to let them come find him. Well, too bad now. They were here, and they weren't leaving.]

[Giovanni snorted and only afterward stirred, peeking his eyes open minutely to glance at the brothers standing just inside the room. He promptly closed his eyes once more and settled back into a comfortable position--or as comfortable as he could manage.]

It is only fitting after all of the worrying times the two of you have forced me to live through with all your antics over the years.
