Whoo! Het.

Probably in need of a beta, since I wrote it in a possessed fit at 4:30 in the morning because the bunny wouldn't leave me alone.

I'm gonna call it R. The pairing is hopefully guessable, but I don't actually use the names 'til the end in the fic so I don't wanna use them in the post yet.

That's disgustingly cute, but I was thrown off on the pairing cuz I was thinking DS9.

'for awhile' not necessary, could nix the comma after silence probably.

She seemed so earnest and so eager, and yet ... could it mean anything like what it had meant to him?

Slightly awkward. Maybe split earnest/eager sentence and mean anything sentence.

There's something giddy in the grin he can't suppress as relief washes over him.

Maybe this is more a matter of personal pref, but I think it would work better if relief washes over him was split off and made a seperate sentence. I like short, powerful sentences.

That's all that jumps out at me.

You're getting good with your short fic, y'know. XD

Yeah, my Hoshi sex reads a lot like my Jadzia sex. But if I said ENT and het in the same sentence everyone would know the pairing without even having to open the fic.

*scurries to tweak*

Haha, awesome.

The only other Malcolm/Hoshi I wrote was 'Rose Among Dandelions' which is a Malcolm POV character study kind of a piece -- I like it, but it is more UST than actual ship, at least from a mutuality perspective.
