Yeah. The holosuite plot is pretty silly, too, I think. Not as boring and irritating to watch as the A-plot, but ... I'm glad that he came back as, like, other people. ;)
Yeah, I see Dax as someone who is sex positive and relaxed about that kind of thing, who doesn't need to have fallen madly in love with a guy she's just met in order to sleep with him. And Sisko being like 'I just want you to be happy' when she is clearly making a completely crazy decision, that was annoying too! ALSO, he was a pretty boring guy in a pretty boring plot, so you'd think Dax would have BETTER TASTE. (I mean ... admittedly her taste has made me crazy at other times, but--!)
I love the bit at the start of "Defiant" where Julian is like 'Here are some recreational activities. YOU HAVE TO USE AT LEAST TWO OF THEM.' And then Riker shows up, being in himself an awesome recreational activity. Except for the part where then they go blow up Cardassians, but y'know.
