I just wanted to wish everyone a peaceful and pleasant day, whether it's a sacred day for you or merely a Saturday on which most of the stores are closed and people are mostly in better moods.
Down here in Florida, it's also known as the Day When People Go to Chinese Restaurants. Who knew?

There's a huge Jewish population here, for whom Christmas was a day on which all the stores were closed and all their non-Jewish friends were busy. Of course, the theatres and museums and most of the restaurants were closed as well -- except for the Chinese restaurants, because the Chinese didn't celebrate Christmas either.
Moreover, with the exception of a few easily avoided items such as shrimp, Chinese food is kosher. So Christmas is a big, big day for Chinese restaurants!

I just came back home from the family, so I had no internet these past days and therefore got your Christmas wishes a bit late. We already open the parcels at the afternoon of the 24th. Then later in the evening we watch the news of people buying the last gifts in the shopping malls at the same day. Crazy people.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas together!
We have so much snow at the moment! Luckily I did not need to travel, as there are severe problems on the streets and trains and airports, some areas not reachable anymore.
