I don't often gripe here, and I don't think I've ever done new-TV commentary here before.  But, well, I need to vent a little ( Read more... )

rantiness, huh?!?

Meh...really? Rather glad I gave it a miss in my 'shows to watch' list. UGH. Think I'll get back to listening to 'Happy' and reading my novel list (which is stupid-long)...

*hugs back*

Tell you what -- if the show gets better (and I hope it does), I'll squee happily about it in this same space and encourage everyone to see it. Then you can decide whether to put it on the list!

There actually was some good stuff -- just too damned much crap filler. One of Missy's comments was "Do they expect to have any female viewers at all? Ever?"

But I know damned well that WW is capable of genuine funny, so I've committed myself to another two weeks before I decide whether or not to pull the plug.

Good enough. Just let me know either way, lol!!

UGH. Hate it when they feel they need to 'talk down' to their audience and 'put in shiny/icky things to keep their attention'. Meh. And likely? No. Cause all nerds are dudes and females nerds are posers looking to get dudes. Don't ask me how that works out. I've got a dude whose a nerd. But it sounds like this caters to the kind that live in Mom's basement and are less nerd than dork.

He is...that's what makes the opening of this so disappointing, ugh.

Same response here. I was, however, not expecting a whole lot/was concerned from the get-go that this would be this way. Was hoping for more, but was not surprised it wasn't, if that makes sense.

I laughed hard a few times. (Thank you, Shawn Ashmore - your brother [if that was him? you never know with you identical twins, I suppose...] was really nice to me once, too - love you Ashmore boys!) But otherwise, this felt like watching The Big Bang Theory. I want to like it, but I just...can't.

Eurgh, that sounds incredibly depressing. You sound very generous with giving the show two more weeks... hopefully it gets better! :(
