warning: awful mathematics pun

I don't seem to be able to actually embed this image, so you'll have to follow the link.  Trust me.  It's worth it.  Especially if you like any or all of the following:  1) yarn crafts, 2) math, 3) girls with brains, 4) erudite puns.

I saw this yesterday and it entirely cracked me up. I do like bad puns!

I particularly liked this one since I've used the Fibonacci sequence in knitting design, and I'd do it again. Golden mean 4 lyfe!

I like how a search for 'Fibonacci' on Ravelry returns 75 different knitting & crochet designs. Although none of them have used a Tilli Tomas sequin yarn.

Hmmm.

That sounds like a challenge. Although, actually, I kind of dislike Tilli Tomas yarns... got some sea-silk that was full of white slubs and not colour fast. It might be worth it for the sequinnyness of it all, though!

The more I think about it, to make the sequence work with individual sequins, I'd have to knit with a comfy yarn held with a fine strand threaded with beads/sequins so that I could pull up the sparkly bit when the pattern required it.

Hmmm... scarf, purse, table-runner...?

A knitted Klein bottle icon would have been even more appropriate. Near a sunflower, and rabbits.

Three jolly sailors from Brandon-on-Tyne
They all went to sea in a bottle by Klein.
Since the sea was entirely inside the hull
The scenery seen was exceedingly dull.

I had to call my husband the chem. major/math geek up to see the comic and read the Klein bottle rhyme. The snorts and lols are spreading out into the universe!

See above for details on "The Space Child's Mother Goose", which you clearly need to acquire!
