OMG WALES!!!!!

Seeing Northern Wales was fun, even though riding on a bus on the roads in Northern Wales was decidedly not...everywhere it was up and down and stop and go. Everyone was feeling pretty crappy by the time we got home. The American students were alright - I was pleasantly surprised. I felt pretty antisocial the whole time, so I didn't really bond ( Read more... )

It sounds like you were disappointed to learn about that feature of smarties packages, which to me suggests a very skewed perspective. I wish I had candy packages that did that.

Re: feeling like a twat -- in my Probability in Computing course, the professor was showing us two probability distributions on graphs, and asked us for a counterexample to show that they are substantially different, so I gave one (the complete graph), and ever since then he's been referring to complete graphs as "David graphs" in class. yo,

tis kevin, from baltimore. Just poking you on-line, being curious about how welsh expressions are mixing with the classic 'dear student' of Shea fame in your livejournal. You sound rocking, and yay going off to Wales for you! CHANGE IS NOT INHERENTLY BAD. . . - more to the point: I wrote this piece in 12 hours last weekend, for performance the next night - 24hc.org, check it out - and it was pretty good.

also - benedick and Beatrice arecrying uncle, and don pedro is a woman.

miss you,
-Kevin

hey you

You don't need to specify a location, there aren't that many Kevins in my life. I was just about to send you an email. Visual arts here pretty much suck, but other than that I'm having lots of fun. Change? Inherently bad? Who would ever think that? ;).

Will check out the piece, and get my act together with emails and postcards, etc.

Don Pedro is a woman?!?!?!?

Wow. Doing the hokey-pokey, with senior citizens, at a dance party in an old hotel in Wales. Now there's a memory to hold on to :)

Unfortunately, someone took pictures of the whole thing and has probably posted them on the internet by now, so I can't imagine it's a memory I'll be able to let go of. :P
