[Not filtered like a boss. Just another example of Cas' recklessness right here.]

This town's sure goin' to hell isn't it? Good thing I don't care, otherwise I'd have a real mess on my hands.

Well if anyone wants to enjoy a drink while this shit gets real, I'll be at the bar.

That... is probably a good idea. What time do you get off work, and where would you like to meet?

That was... easy.

[And he felt very relieved. ...A relationship with Cas, mm? It will be interesting at the very least, and he had to admit it was rather exciting.]

Hopefully. The nights are too quiet and dull without you around causing trouble.

You didn't think I was gonna make it difficult, did ya?

[Although he would be entirely justified in thinking that. But Cas didn't have any reservations about starting something a little more committed with Finas, quite the opposite. And the fact that it was a taboo thing to do in Mayfield? Well that was just an added bonus.]

Don't worry, I'll get it back soon and then we can cause some real havoc. Until then, I'll just start drinkin' coffee or something.

No... I just wasn't expecting you to want anything to come from it.

[But then again, the man could be territorial and ridiculously jealous when it wasn't even needed. He just read some of these things the wrong way most of the time, or he didn't pay it any mind.]

Just as long as it doesn't start to effect your health, Cas. You still need your sleep.

Nah, you know me Fin, I always want something.

[That and the territorial/jealous thing, yeah. He picked up the beer when it was set down, taking a quick drink.]

So I'll just readjust my sleeping habits a little. It's not gonna affect my health, but even if it does, I got you around to take care of me~ [Said with a snicker.]

Hm, that's true.

[Leaning back in his seat, it felt odd not to order anything but he wasn't going to waste any money just to keep up appearances. Legs crossing neatly, as comfortable as he was going to get.]

If your wife lets me. Even so, I won't be taking care of anyone properly until I get the arm back.

[Really the eye didn't bother him, but the arm was... it was a hindrance he wasn't enjoying. Although he was getting quite competent without it, all it took was some practice.]

Right, well I'll tell her to get lost or something, she's gotta listen to me. Fucking nuisances, those drones...

[He leaned back too just as his randomly selected dinner was set down in front of him, and he took a minute to inspect it with his fork.]

Damn, I better not get sick until you get it back then, huh?

The drones could be a problem for... us.

[Mused absently, the fact Cas' wife was away that night was rather lucky for them. He scoffed then, giving him a look.]

If you get yourself sick just so I have to play nurse, I might leave you to your wife out of spite.

[Such an empty threat.]

We'll get by 'em. If there's one thing we know how to do it's keepin' a secret.

[Hell they'd only been sneaking around as vampires for how long? Cas took a couple bites of his dinner, looking up to give Fin a very knowing look.]

Oh, you wouldn't. Plus if you did that you'd just miss me too much. Then nobody wins.

You have a point.

[Which was rare. Shifting in his seat, his attention on Cas for a little while before shifting out the window to the rather empty streets. Hn... Mayfield was starting to get dangerous, seems he took his immortality back at the right time. And his attention back on Casimiro, hoping he'd get his back shortly.]

You might be right.

Sure I do.

[He continued to eat until he noticed Finas was looking out the window, and followed his line of vision. Yeah, things weren't looking very good for Mayfield at the moment. He looked to Finas, then continued with his food.]

Shit, maybe I should go down to the post office too. Things're lookin' bad out there.

I... wouldn't recommend it, Casimiro.

[Hesitating then, he never wanted Cas to know the excrutiating pain he went through to get it back.]

...It's not a painless procedure, my arm and eye didn't just disappear. It felt like they ripped the arm off, as if they gouged out my eye...

[And he's rubbing at his shoulder absently, looking away.]

I can't stop you... but I'd rather you not, unless it was necessary.

[He hadn't really thought about just how they'd been taken from him, but hearing that he lowered his eyes and his fork.]

Huh... In that case maybe I'll wait a little longer.

[But now he just had to bring up that old topic. He looked at Finas again.]

Y'know, I bet you could've taken that Zevran guy without goin' through all that.

I probably could have. But it wasn't about just killing him or revenge. They made us into monsters over the smallest thing... Then the assassin told everyone what he had done... like he was better than you, than us.

[A low growl in his tone, flexing his fist.]

I wanted to destroy him... to send a message. We are not to be crossed.

action bethebetterman October 23 2010, 06:40:24 UTC
[Ooh all this destroying talk got Casimiro in a good mood. He smirked into his beer.]

Damn right we're not. I gotta get him back for that myself. Thinks he can mess with me and I'll just forget about it, he's got another thing comin'.

[He finished the bottle and pushed away his plate. Less in the mood for eating, more in the mood for violence. And he leaned on the table, fixing Finas with an excited grin.]

... So did you?

Of course I did. I despise hero types and vigilantes.

[Wrinkling his nose at the memory. The elf left a bad taste in his mouth, in every way possible.]

And I would be tempted to do so again if I see his dirty face.

[It is safe to say that he disliked Mr. Arainai immensely, red eye narrowing just thinking about him.]
