I promise to try to have something more contructive to say when I reread it all together. But you may just get another BIG squee.

Severus is, I presume, more easily persuaded to be helpful just for the sheer delight of being productive again.
And where is Lucius so they can have their threesome

(...as for Lucius, well...I'm afraid any threesome here is going to have to wait for the AU epilogue *g*)

But that is why I was surprised not to see any Lucius.

It was a lot easier writing stuff before I had to worry too much about motivation you know.

motivation you know.
Believe me, sister...I know exactly what you mean.

Minor Brit-pick - a chemist's shop in the UK wouldn't normally be selling things like Radio Times. And probably not a shelf-full of alarm clocks - there might be one or two on a shelf of similar things (our local chemist's has a small array of 'toys for the boys' - car clocks/thermometers, pedometers, electronic tape measures, notepads with calculators, and the like - among which there might just be an alarm clock).

(re: the Radio Times, well...I have no particular excuse for that, except a whim, since we bought our occasional copies at WH Smiths. *g* Maybe I'll just have Hermione buy a pack of Malteasers)

Send Hermione in for a pack of tissues, maybe? Not all chemists sell sweets, either. Places like Superdrug do, though; and Boots' larger branches usually have a food section (sandwiches, snacks, drinks, crisps etc). They might have Maltesers... *g*
Back in the 70s I worked briefly (my summer vacation job!) in the warehouse of Underwoods Cash Chemists (they got taken over by Boots a few years later); I was in the 'sundries' department, and we had facecloths, sponges, shaving brushes and soap, and things like souvenir dolls dressed like Beefeaters. I spent a lot of time scrambling up and down scaffolding shelves, and learning the 17-times-table (quick, now, 5 dozen facecloths at 17p each!).
