Thanks for the, er, lift. For all his strength and coordination, Lupine couldn't have carried me much father in the godsdamn snowdrifts without cutting his own head off with that gigantic broadsword.

And believe it or not, Dasha's not so bad to have on one's side in a fight. Maybe after I'm a little calmer over that fact that SHE was the blasted cause of this entire mess, I'll congratulate her on ramming Nancy's head into the trunk of an oak tree. Pretty good move.

Dasha was quite impressive, snarling in the snow behind Lupine! But I'm glad I found you all in time. Knocking out Nancy, though, that is more than I ever managed.

Exactly! And ever since then she's seemed almost... lively. I can't believe it, the girl needed to drag us all out to nearly be killed and buried in a snowstorm before she could really open up. If anything, she's feeling better now than before she left. I'm sure some if it is the aftereffects of adrenaline, but it's like she's finally being herself.

Anyway, turns out one of her cubs is a bimorph after all. Maybe not a full one, but still. This should be.... interesting.
