Oh, gods, we've got Polly Perks back!! SHe is alive, and as well as can be expected after all that happened, and not afraid of Mal or me, luckily.

And Vlad has taken Tomjon (who was terrified of us) and Skazz Zesk away to Lancre, and thankfully away from anyway near my Lajos where I so totally didn't want them at allLajos has fed all the rescuers ( Read more... )

I wouldn't say he was terrified of you, exactly. He was reacting much the same to, say, Miss Halter. I think he's just in something of a state of shock, and only willing to deal with things very familiar to him. Hopefully he'll be back to normal soon.

Oh, Magda Halter can be very terrifying - she even terrified Sir Samuel Vimes, who had before quite managed to subdue me.

Levity aside, I am glad there was an alternative where he could be. His brother seems a decent sort, Lajos said; he's talked to him a bit over the PC.

He was not-reacting in much the same way to everybody except Skazz Zesk and, finally, you; but I could feel his terror peaking when Margo or I came near him, so we just kept away. Luckily, Polly Perks is not afraid of us. It's a mircale, really, seeing she was subjected to the same ordeal.

I rather liked her. I think I like mostly everyone at the moment.

Verence is very kind. We've been given quite spacious rooms. Of course Zacharias and I have yet to see ours, but I'm certain they're just as nice as Tomjon's.

He's much better off here, I believe. It will do him good to have his family near.

Oh, I like her as well! I just wouldn't cross her for the world. She doesn't even stop at Ponder.

Which reminds me, I will have to kick that bloody assassin, Teppic. Did you see what he did to Ponder? Great puddles of blood, how could he!! I've just discovered it, and am shocked again. Did he have to fly off his bloody handle bloody now??

But don't worry yourself about that; see to Tomjon, keep him safe, leave the world to deal with itself.

Anyway, Magda Halter was still quite frantic over Polly when Tomjon saw her.
