Last night I went to a concert. I bought tickets on a lark. I knew I had heard and liked this group. What I didn’t realize was how much I had actually already heard from the group. I was surprised how many people recognized their name, simply because I had just discovered them

I'll bet most people are familiar with them because of their songs recorded with Paul Simon. They were frequently mentioned during airplay of cuts from that album.

I'd love to see them someday, and I'm envious that you already have.

I'm pretty sure they were on Sesame Street's 25th Anniversary video.

Yes. There is just so much in their bio that I didn't want to fill up my post. They've done so much and they're *really* good.

This is why I wish commercials would display the song's title and artist in one of the lower corners of the screen. Some commercials do this, but the majority do not.

It's rare that I like a commercial so much that I will go look it up. I think the last one was the new Old Spice commercial, Man on a Horse. Before that, probably Rubberband Man and I don't even remember what the commercial was for.
