[Aimery is leaning against a brick wall and looks like he seriously got his ass kicked. Half of his face is swollen and reddish-purple, and he's caked in dried and fresh blood. The clean parts of his face are pale while his once-white t-shirt is now mostly red. It's obvious from his voice that he's still pretty out of it.I'm returned from Babylon,

No no, no hospital. The hostel would be fine, it's not far. Bleu found me, but he's... he can't help me up and I'm not sure if I can walk. My knee is... being very unsupportive.
[Yep, he's trying to be funny. Sefton's voice comes through and he anxiously gives Seras an address.]

[To Sefton:] I'll be there soon. Thank you, for taking care of him.
*~*~*
[Seras arrives within a few minutes, thankful for awesome vampire speed-- amped up with her recent feeding-- and looking oh so grateful to see Aimery's alive. However, she's less than ecstatic about his current state, and the mix of rage towards whoever did this to him, and general anguish at seeing him this way is quite evident in her expression. Despite this, she forces herself to calm down some, and offers a crooked smile.]
You can't go on ennymore vacations, you know.

He's rubbing at his knee when Seras approaches, trying to get it soothed back into working order while simultaneously trying not to scare Sefton any more.]
No, no more vacations. The parts I can remember were nice, though.

S' the stuff you can't that's worrying... [ Shakes his head and spares Aimery another glance. ] Can you carry him? Or... help him walk?

She crouches down beside him, smiling reassuringly, apology in her eyes.]
I'm so sorry, Aimery... I don' know wha' happened over there, but--... [Somehow she feels like she's failed him. She sighs and shakes her head, moving her arms carefully under him to scoop him up (princess-style) with startling ease.]

You can put me down, I can walk, I just need someone to lean on. Nothing's broken.

He's not normally one to try and change other peoples' minds, but when it comes to someone being injured, he's willing to make some exceptions. ]
... You'll just bleed faster if y'do.

[If she hadn't been fed recently, this would have proved difficult, considering how much blood there was. She carefully cradles him against her body as she moves back in the direction of the hostel.]
An' with your knee being "unsupportive" it's not going t'do you enny good either way.

[Nooot gonna argue THAT hard though, not with Sefton the Stubborn backing her up. Token protesting done, he leans against her and hooks his arm around Seras's neck...even though that kinda makes his chest start bleeding again. Sorry bout bleeding on your tits, Seras =/ ]
...Thank you. Just... try not to be seen?

[Flatly:] Aww, shame. I wanted t'turn on my sirens. [Then with a slight chuckle:] But I doubt we'll re'lly draw enny attention. This kind'f thing 'appens oll th'time. No one's re'lly too affected ennymore.

[Before he does though, he spots Sefton being all worryface, so he shoots him a thankful smile (bloody and weird looking as it is, he's trying). He's grateful, Angstmagnet. Then it's face-hiding-in-shoulder time.]
Claire said she'll be waiting in the clinic, if you could...
[Goddamn being carried like a baby through the streets because he's a wimp about his leg suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks]

She had to smile to herself, however, at him burying his face against her; she didn't know if it was purely to hide his embarrassment, or if it was some form of comfort to have her there. Part of her wished it was the latter, but she wouldn't make too high of a bet on that; she was a girl again, after all.
"This is a formal request f'you t'tell me everything tha' happened while you were ou' there." she said, serious, but with an edge of facetiousness to it. "We can wait till later, but I 'ave t'know."

"I'll tell you what I can, but there's a great deal I can't remember," he answered against her shoulder, then peeked over at Sefton. The boy better not mock him for this. "Apparently I'm missing a week."
Oh good, they were close to the hostel, he could see the doors just up ahead despite his dizziness.

"What?" he murmured, not quite understanding what the look was for.
When they got closer to the hostel, he slipped ahead and held the door open for them. It was the least he could do, despite being the jumpy bundle of nerves he had become after seeing Aimery's state on the network, then in person. Not to mention meeting someone who had been dead only a few days before.

Seras was a little too busy worrying about her terribly wounded boss/friend/king to really pay enough attention to Sefton to realize he was giving her a sort of strange look. It hadn't occurred to her exactly that it may be strange to see someone back from the dead.
She smiled appreciatively at the young man as she carried Aimery through the door, making their way to the clinic now.
