[ It looks like someone's finally worked out how the network works, staring bemusedly into the open tome in his hands. He glances once, questioningly, to someone off-screen before beginning to speak, leaning close. ]This city has proven a treacherous place, and equally so I find its inhabitants. I tire of these games. Whatever petty squabbles you

[ True to his word, he follows Stark's coordinates, which appear in the form of a drawn map, and it isn't long before he is near enough to the hammer's location -- and the mortals who surround it -- to begin his search for Loki. ]

With a glance to the so-called Mjolnir, he notices the electrical readings growing with Thor's approach. Time for a show. ]

If things evolve into an altercation, and he's not discounting this possibility ever, it's best to be some form of prepared.]
Thor.
[Thunder claps abovehead as the clouds darken. Quietly Loki flips the hood up.]
It's been... well, weeks, since I last saw you. How fares you?

[ And it's just such a relief seeing him, here in the flesh. No illusions, not even the distortion of whatever curse he is under can bar the truth. And just like that whatever anger he felt before dissipates.
He moves towards him slowly, as though taking in the sight of a ghost, before an arm reaches out and drags his brother in close.
Things are so close to being set right again, he can't be angry just now. He's too glad to see him. ]

It's like something lodged painfully in his throat, finally seeing him, and like this.]
I'm here.

I had...I thought, upon arriving here, that I might never see you again, brother.

But what he says instead, as his eyes turn wet at the corners, is:]
I thought you wouldn't want to.

[ And as though it might dismiss the matter for good, Loki is pulled into his brother's embrace, hand clapping firm against his back.
He can give Loki the dignity of hiding those tears, should they fall. They're not children anymore, scraping their knees or getting into petty mischief, but he's still the big brother, isn't he? ]
None of that has to matter, now.

One.
And two.
He's not crying, not to Thor, out of all, when he's already humiliated himself several lifetimes over by now and all in one go.]
You're such a blunt oaf, did you know.
[He says that with some affection; it was true then, it's still true now. Loki taps him twice on his side, after a bit.]
You need to shower, you're starting to smell.

I think you're starting to take to that form a little too much, brother.

[He's been doing his reading. So much has changed with mortals these past few centuries, and they're all fascinating changes.]
Might you do something with the scent of ozone running through the air, though? We're only a few distances from Mjolnir, now, there's no need to call the rain down.
[They have so much to talk about - so much. Where has he been staying? Who's been looking out for him? Who's performing the tasks that had for a long time been Loki's duty, as shield-brother and kin?
And then he remembers everything he's done to forfeit these rights, and with a sharp sneer to himself Loki turns to walk to the crater, where men of science are puttering about with their gadgets around Mjolnir.]
You seem to be doing well, by the by.

[ Thor merely grins. It's not something he can readily contain, the excitability that crackles in the air like a thick current. He's so close, and the rumbling in the clouds overhead speaks to his eagerness to return.
He may as well tell his heart to stop beating quite so quickly. ]
As do you. You've acquired a good many friends.
[ There's a sidelong glance there. And at least one enemy. ]

[He means that on both cases, though he pursued the former and exacerbated the latter. He's not one for doing things half-way, as he would do anything else in his own life.
He does roll his eyes on the shower comment though.]
Shower at a proper venue, you don't need to get naked in public. [He can say these things now. He's adapting to local culture.]
I hope my friends didn't make things too hard for you.

Well to be fair, for him, it's only been a week or so since his banishment. But that'll soon be over, he's certain of it. ]
They are very protective of you. As friends should be.
[ They're approaching the tent as the rain falls a little faster, cold and biting. Time to see if Stark's been true to his word. ]

And Camilla, when she's back to her right mind again.
[She wasn't lying, at least. She was his first friend here, for some measure of the word. Loki pulls his jacket closer, tugs at the hem until they cover past his knuckles.]
I'm sorry you had to be involved in this mess.
