[Amy is walking on the sandy beach, gazing out at the blue water. She's completely at ease and enjoying this mini utopia even though it's still a complete mystery as to how it got here. Suddenly she spots Romana and does a double take, before jogging over to her.]

Romana? Is that-- are you really here?

[action forever!]

[Romana smiles, and nods] The Doctor didn't tell you I had returned, did he?

Ehm, no, he didn't.

[Her smile back is a tad uncomfortable.]

We haven't been speaking much. But hey, I'm glad to see you're back, and I guess you got curious about this place too. Find anything out about it yet?

I met a bird called 'Birdrant,' but otherwise I've simply been exploring. And it is good to be back...but why isn't he speaking to you? [she frowns, remembering how "off" he's seemed recently]

He took your death really hard, and when I tried to get him to open up and tell me what was wrong, he sort of... snapped.

[She sighs, shaking her head.]

I've never seen him like that before. Actually kind of freaked me out there. Luckily Rory came in and the two of us left.

[Romana just stares at her a bit] I...I'm sorry. When I returned, he told me what will happen to our planet...to our people. In my future. I'm not surprised he lashed out, but he shouldn't have.

Yeah.

[She looks away for a minute, brow furrowed in worry.]

Maybe we should just try to enjoy ourselves and go explore.

[It's not like the pair of them can do anything to save the Time Lords, after all.]

[Romana nods, relieved] Yes, I would like that. It's been awhile since I've had the opportunity to explore someplace new.

Same here, really. Kind of hard to, without the TARDIS.
