[Oops. He hadn't thought he'd spoken so loudly.]

Nothing.

[ Well, he also heard it over his comm, but you know. There's not actually that much that's caught his interest... 'til Lance spoke up.

He does hesitate before he replies, however. ]

... What d'you mean?

[Gdit, he did forget to lock it.]

Nothing. I just ... yelled at a few people.

[ voice/action ]

[ Yes, you did, Lance. ]

Yelled at 'em... 'bout not being worth your time?

[ voice/action ]

Not ... exactly. It doesn't matter anymore; never mind.

[ Bit of a hesitant pause. Warring compulsions of pressing on in curiosity and just leaving it alone because it doesn't actually matter. A lot of things don't actually matter recently. ]

[Whoosh, that was close. He's gonna come wandering back into the den, now.]

Hungry? Bored?

[ voice/action ]

[polarisation]

[ Still blobbing it up under the blankets, though he's got enough pulled back to note when Lance comes in. He's just not paying a particular lot of attention. ]

Whatever.

[ voice/action ]

When did you last eat?

[ voice/action ]

[polarisation]

... um. [ He frowns to himself, then huddles up further. ]

[ voice/action ]

Right. Food.

[He goes to get some onigiri from the fridge.]

[ action ]

[ Sefton just pulls one of the blankets tighter, closing his eyes to let the fanciful images play about in his head. There's nothing left for him to do right now, anyway; Lance won't let him leave, and he won't leave Sefton in peace, either. ]

[ action ]

[It's not long before he comes out out again, sitting on the pile and nudging the lump that is Sefton.]

Here. Food.

[ action ]

[polarisation]

[ Grunts, quietly, then cracks his eyes open to peer at Lance with a fairly-blank expression. Seeing the food, he can't deny that he's hungry, and so he reluctantly curls up, shifts, and slowly sits. ]

... 'kay.

[Lance makes a space on the floor for the plate, taking one himself.]
