Saïx takes a corridor of darkness to the 'Team Science' laboratory at the appointed time. He, too, is dressed for the weather, though his expression is perhaps colder than the temperature. While he is not capable of displeasure or annoyance, he finds the cold to be more uncomfortable than the heat. He prefers spring and fall for their more moderate temperatures, but he would take a blistering summer over a subzero winter without hesitation.

Once he is indoors, he lowers the hood of his Organization coat (under which he is wearing many layers). As he makes his way to Romana's location, he peels his gloves off his hands and stores them in his coat pocket.

"Good evening," Saïx intones once he is within earshot.

"Hello," Romana replies, with a warm smile. She's working on an engineering project at the moment, which looks very advanced and complicated. But she steps away from it, setting down the materials she's working with. "It's a pleasure to meet you in person."

Saïx inclines his head. "And you, as well." His expression remains neutral.

He looks about, taking in his surroundings, though he doesn't understand the projects that he sees. Though he has mastered the everyday uses of technology, science has never been 'his thing.'

"Where would you like me to be?" This hardly seems the place to him, but, well... What does he know?

Bennett manages to look up from her work, hearing Romana talking to someone. She glances in her general direction and sees Saïx as well. She recognizes him from the network so she gets up to greet him and formally introduce herself.

"Um, hi," she interjects quietly, waving and trying not to look too awkward. It probably isn't working too well.

"Saïx, this is Bennett, she's another member of our team. And I think here is fine, don't you?" she asks, glancing at Bennett. She's honestly not really certain where to begin.

"Perhaps we ought to start by testing your physical condition, before delving into your...metaphorical one."

Saïx inclines his head to Bennett. Perhaps she looks awkward, but it's not of any concern of his.

"It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance," he says, not without dry humor.

He returns his attention to Romana. "As you say."

"Same here," she says quietly, then focuses on Romana and nods.

"I agree. See if we can pinpoint any other abnormalities. It may help."

"Have a seat then," Romana told Saix, pointing to one nearby. "Bennett, would you like to begin with some basic physical tests?"
