Dean has been looking for Sam for hours. He had heard from De that Sam had fallen into the water and run off, he wasn't exactly thrilled with having to go track the kid down, but he knew that he was probably the only one who could get him to stand still. He left Olive with Jo told her to keep an eye on De, and then headed back out to the island to try and find out what happened.

To say he was unprepared for what he found, though, was the understatement of the century. It was more like a hard punch to the stomach that knocked the wind out of him.

"Sammy?"

Sam was trying to climb a tree when he heard Dean's voice. Needless to say, without pants meant that Dean was probably also getting flashes of things on his brother he never wanted to see.

But then there was Dean and Sam was smiling. "Dean! you founded me!"

And GLOMP! Baby demon brother glomping around you, Dean. Hope you don't need to breathe any time soon.

Dean wasn't conscious enough to realize that he was seeing things he didn't want to see. He was too busy trying to wrap his mind around the fact that Sam was Sam again. It was his baby brother that he had looked after for so long, and for a while he couldn't say anything. All he could do was take the hug and hold on himself, as tight as he could.

If Sam was a kitten, he'd be purring. Instead he just nestled his head against his brother's stomach and bounced a bit on his feet.

"This place is so much fun! I'm glad you came over to play!"

"Didn't exactly come to play," he said quietly. He wasn't sure how else to be right then. "I was looking for you."

"And you found me. Now you can hide and I can seek!"

Life is one big game of hide and seek, don't you know that yet Dean?

Dean sighed before shaking his head. "I think we need a time out from the game, Sammy. I ... there's a couple things here that don't make sense."

"Like what?"

Sam stood there waiting, impatient, bouncing from foot to foot.

[hasperkynipples]

"Like how you're suddenly a midget, for one."

... He was pretty sure there was a more delicate way to put that, but he wasn't feeling like being delicate at the moment.

"I know how that happened! De pushed me into a fountain and when I came out, I was little again."

Sam gave a bright smile. "You liked me when I was little."

He gave his brother a small smile back. "I never stopped liking you, Sammy." It was the other way around -- at least as far as Dean was concerned.

"And I always love you, Dean!"

"I know, kiddo," he said softly. "I know."

"You can be tiny too! I can show you where the water is."

And he's pulling you in the direction of the springs, Dean.

"Whoa, whoa -- slow down, Sammy," Dean sighed, digging in his heels to bring them to a stop. "Let's pump the breaks a bit. That might not be smart."

"Why not? It's really fun being like this! We don't have to be adults for a little while. Please!"
