He thought it might be a good idea off-duty, too. And who could be more disarming than Rapunzel? So he brought her with him, early Wednesday morning when he and Lance would ordinarily have been having their lesson.

People came here to heal. But...it was not warm, or nice to be in. But she knew Some was worried about his friend, and needed someone to be with him. In more ways then one.
And she wanted to meet more people who called Some friend.

"Lance?" he called, just a few paces away.

Looking at the other man, she could see how stressed he was. She chewed her lip, feeling that pressure, the pressure of this whole place.

"Some?" he asked, a little hoarse, a little confused, a little distant. He still wasn't quite where he should be.

"Lance, we came to check on you. Is- is Sefton doing okay?" He had to force the question out, not sure he wanted to hear the answer.

It was the unchangingness that was wearing on him more than anything else. It hadn't even been that long, but the fact the doctors weren't even sure what was wrong just made it worse. He just wanted Sefton to wake up.
His eyes fell on Rapunzel again. "Who's this?" Standard question; one got the feeling he couldn't quite muster the care he felt he should.

He turned, touching Rapunzel's shoulder again. "My friend, Rapunzel. She lives in the Hostel, and she did not mind coming with me today."
