I got very cross with all the fics that suggested that all of a sudden Rory would start disapproving of River and the Doctor just because he's Dad... and, of course, that means he feels that he owns and controls River's sexuality (ick!)

I think this is far more likely (and more healthy) not to mention more amusing.
