I think it is awesome that Orlando is doing this but I am not surprised because I know how much his home means to him.
Also, I have just recently learned while researching my family that I also have roots in Kent. I am a descendant of the Scott Family and they were from Brabourne and Smeeth of East Ashford, Kent. In fact, my 15th Great Grandmother Sybilla Scott is buried at one of the Monasteries in Canterbury. So I have a connection to Orlando. :) So I hope they are successful in their bid to becoming the UK's City of Culture in 2017.

Canterbury is a beautiful city, full of history and culture, so I think it can be a great contender for this bid. Great to see Orlando supporting his hometown, like usual!
