OMG, I'm super happy with the result from me, I didn't think many people would like that icon but I was hoping they would cause it has all the things that make my style. I was totally hoping it would win, so huge thanks to the people who voted for it!! ♥ though, once again my votes seems very evenly spread, so I'm not sure how much it can actually be considered a winner, but still, thanks :)

the results are very interesting in general, most of them are different from what I would have picked from each maker but I love the winners from harlequinss_s, linesfade, marcasite, nightbulbs and scoobyatemysnax and a few others!

Thanks for organizing this rizbef, I can't even imagine the amount of work this required :O here's to hoping we'll get to continue bestof_icons this year as well, it's definitely my favorite annual iconing event :>

Your winning icon is beautiful, but probably not even in my top 100 icons from you last year, I was very surprised to see it win tbh. But the text use in it is super creative so maybe it was that? :)

your winning icon is fantastic tbh, blending like that is so freaking hard o.O but I also think that there were many icons in your poll that were even more creative and amazing, so I get your disappointment!

I'm so happy that the winning icon this year was one I actually put a bit of effort into XD (last time I did this, the winning icon was something that took me under five minutes to make, it was a little depressing...)
