He’d stupidly ordered the rings three weeks after he’d figured out that he was, in fact, in love with Ron, without knowing whether Ron was even open to a same sex relationship, particularly one with his best mate.

This is very impulsive!Harry - excellent.

It was finally the right time to see if Ron wanted him the same way he wanted Ron. Christmas Eve would be the perfect time to make his confession, and if all went well, they would wear their matching Promise rings on Christmas Day.
