Actually, that's quite striking. Looks like it belongs on the front of a romance novel.

My word, I wasn't expecting that. This is just beautiful. I haven't seen much art of them as older men, and this is just gorgeous in every way. I'm not one for facial hair but I really like them with it here. Ron's eyes, and his freckles, and his expression are just... I'm running out of advectives! LOL And i just ADORE the way their hands are touching!
Yeah, so... in a word, fantastic!

I generally draw them as older men. They had so much growing up to do after school, and I see Harry as being somewhat haunted by his own destiny - what he had to do, what he had to be. And no matter what JKR says, I just don't think Ginny would be capable of dealing with his ghosts.
Ron, on the other hand, was there and saw him through so many of them, he knew... he experienced the horcrux. He knew what it was like to make the tough decisions.
It's hard to get that much emotion in one piece of art, but I try.

And I love Harry with facial hair. It's one of the things I tend to just do these days. I don't think I've drawn him clean-shaven in over a year now.

And of course, he was heavily influenced by Sirius' love.
