Reno sat in the Turks' office, his chair teetering dangerously on two legs, his feet up on the desk; in one hand he held a battered comic book, in the other a bottle of some kind of fizzy drink. Damn, sometimes work could be slow. At least he wouldn't be alone all day, though...

After being dropped off in the ShinRa building Mianko tentatively wove through the corridors. It was disconcerting to see so many people she didn't know, all bustling past her without giving her a second notice. Even though she must have stuck out rather oddly; she was the only one not wearing a suit and had bandages wrapped unevenly where she had tried to fix them herself in a small hotel mirror.

After asking for directions from an irritated woman she was finally on track and soon she came to the door the woman had indicated. Knocking gently she waited nervously for a response; what if she'd got it wrong and someone realised she wasn't supposed to be here?

Giving a slight huff off annoyance - he'd just got to a really good page, after all - Reno righted his chair and stood up, comic still in hand, and went to the door. His expression changed completely as he opened it, going from one of mild annoyance to pleasantly surprised, and then concern as he glimpsed the bandages she'd applied.

"Minako! Are you alright?" he uttered, ushering her inside and quickly checking outside the door to make sure none of the other Turks - or Rufus - were around. "C'mon, sit down, have a chair and tell me what happened."

"Please don't worry, it's more my pride that's hurt." She muttered bitterly. Still sitting down was much preferable to standing at the moment.

"The fight didn't go quite as I had planned..." She mumbled, slightly embarassed as she picked at one of the bandages on her arm.
