a very nice entry, indeed!

I live in garden city now, but I would not be opposed to doing something one day... I know we've made vague plans in the past to "hang out!" but seriously. I also enjoy books! poetry! music! and drinking! or not drinking! my life is a pretty busy mess, or a busy pretty mess? but I know how boring it is to be bored.

also, I read your poem. it's so lovely! very well done for its intention. I wish I could ever write a poem like that and be totally sincere about it. every love poem I've ever written always has a tinge of bitterness or detachment... I hope to get over that! your poem feels quite genuine. the only problem is, how can you read the poem if it's on paper links? I understand the symbolism (which I like a lot) but if I were getting it as a gift, I'd want to look and it and read it!

finally, yes, coffee is delicious.

I would love to hang out too! I'm busy with the fiancee this weekend, but we'll figure something out sometime.

And I realized the same issue with the paper chain, and so I'm presenting a hard copy of the poem along with the chain itself. Not that elegant, but damn if it isn't functional.
