I'm actually not sure how I stumbled my way here...but I love this. :3 I've had the biggest grin on my face the entire time I was reading it...and snorted with laughter when I realized that you finished Illogical in one go. O.O After recording it, I'm pretty sure that there are a few parts I haven't even listened to since I posted them. *applauds* You are an amazing podfic fan. I'm in awe of you. O.O And I'm glad that podfic kept you sane during the move. <3

Possibly my post on amplificathon? Haha.

I am so so glad it made you grin and laugh! And ahahahhaha, I am pretty sure I can claim the distinction of being the only person to finish Illogical without stopping. At least one would think, LOL XD

...Okay, obviously, today was a very very very long day. -_-;;;; I need to sleep soon. I've written like a dozen comments/emails today, and I'm pretty sure that a lot of my sentences don't make any sense.

Well, I give you the crown for that particular feat. I know of a few people who took it with them on the road for when they were driving to and from university, but never more than several hours drive and not after I completed the anthology. You win. :3

I am over here shrieking with laughter because this so could be my life. I am not neat. Each decade of my life reduces my desire to put things away neatly. My landlord got wind of the state of my house ( I blame the pest control lady). I got a formal letter of an inspection in 2 weeks time-panic city ensued. Not only did I have to tidy, clean and arrange the house to rise to the status of "charming eccentric" from "slovenly housekeeper", I had to unpack half of the boxes I had moved in with--2 1/2 yrs ago. I went on an emergency leave from my job for a week, plugged in the coffee pot with expresso-fine ground beans, put my Ipod with podfiction in my pocket and started. Ever since, the chores of which I hate with a passion (ie, housework) are done with the assistance of podfics. I have podfic in my computer on my backup drive that takes 1/3 of the drive and my Ipod says my podbooks equal 95.8 hrs. I love podfiction. It has kept me sane, given me another way to enjoy the hive mind of fanfiction, filled my mundane world with queer ( ... )

Oh my god, YES. YES YES YES, this is exactly the whole point of this whole post! *hugs you* WE ARE NOT ALONE, OKAY?

(Also, I totally SO UNDERSTAND THIS, you don't even know. I'm diagnosed with ADHD and OCD, and so my OCD is always all, "*cring* omg dirty must clean and organize and make neat!!!!" and the ADHD is like "...but I can do it laaaaaaaaater!" Warring diagnoses=NOT FUN! And so I end up with these dedicated "messy" areas, which get left for YEARS, and dedicated "clean" areas, which get cleaned obsessively XD It is not a good system. I'm hoping to break it with this new apartment!)

Only official Diagnosis over here was depression, but I probably have some ADHD in the mix, also. Also (blush)-I was slightly inaccurate up there. Not 95.8 hrs but 95.8 *!DAYS!* - very good blessings on the effort to be more neat, but if it doesn't happen, be gentle on yourself- I think foibles make us more charming ;)

*nods solemnly* ADHD sucks, man.

Haha, I was wondering about that! 95.8 DAYS is, indeed, quite a lot of podfic! I've only got 16.1 days, myself.

And lol, thanks for the encouragement ;)

You have precisely described, um, pretty much all of my moves ever. /o\ Except that I didn't have the miraculous blessing of podfic to help get me through.

This is an AWESOME post. Thanks for sharing the love. :-D

Bahaha! Oh, you poor love. This story made me grin like a mad fiend, and I'm so glad that you managed to get everything all packed in the end -- even if it was a mad scramble!! Podfic is absolutely amazing for moving. At least you had plenty of it, even if you could have used a little more time!

And I completely understand listening to Arthur's motivational speech to get yourself going. Pandarus = heaven, and that section is so comforting and stirring! (That entire podfic is like a warm hug.)

Also... 1 day, 18 hours, 47 minutes, 15 seconds!!! Oh my god, that's incredible. You are truly an incredible podfic fan. I am so happy podfic kept you sane!!

It was, indeed, a mad scramble >.< But I did do it! And managed to have enough podfic, even!

Oh man, YES. SO MUCH YES! That chapter of that podfic has gotten me through SO MANY bad days, I've lost count.

*facepalm* I...honestly don't even know how it got that high. It still kind of boggles my mind that I can seriously say that I spent LITERALLY a quarter of last week listening to podfic, INCLUDING sleeping time. I'm still just like...!!!! ? over that. Haha.
