[And of course, Kanda always made sure she was in her room before noon so she could wait there for when Lavi arrives. It's not long after knocking that she's opening the door for him, eyes wandering to the tray in his hand.]

Sandwiches? [Did he have something planned? New things usually meant he had something planned.]

[Leaning down to kiss her on the very tip of her nose]

I thought we could dine in today, yeah. There's something that I need to tell you.

[And slipping around her to get inside the room. Though that might be a bit difficult given the width of the tray so he holds it high overhead as he tries to maneuver around her]

[Balancing the tray on one hand so he can shut the door once he's all the way inside]

I'm getting tangled up in another rescue mission, yeah. It won't happen for a while- lots of things to do, lots of things to plan. That and one of the main heroes of the story is still in the hospital with two broken legs.

But I just wanted to let you know what was going on, and that I might need to shut myself up in my room for a few days.

[Tossing the tray lightly into the air and catching it on the tips of all ten fingers before holding it out to here with a grin]
