So it's probably been a bit obvious for Lavi that he's back to taking pills whenever he needs them; obvious in the way he holds himself sometimes, the very slight offness in his eyes when they first hit. Allen doesn't take the pills when Lavi's around, though he hasn't tried to hide it, either.
He lifts his head when the door opens though, looking away from the book he'd been half-reading. The uneasiness is easy to hear - most things are when it comes to Lavi. Allen hums and creases the page corner to find it later, and sets the book aside.]

[As far as Allen's concerned, both questions are equally pointless. Lavi would have noticed when he started taking the pills by the way the slight tremor in his hands disappeared (withdraw, even after nearly a year of being off them); Allen noticed the ring as soon as Lavi came home with it.
And yet, here they were. Asking pointless questions with obvious answers.]
