Okay his leaving in "Wilson's Heart" was more of a metaphorical break than an actual physical break that happens in "Dying Changes Everything" but he turned his back on House in every way possible with that amazing shot of him leaving and House on the bed staring after him ;_; I did not like them being separated. Though gosh, it did mean that the end of season 5 fucking rocked, and it mirrored the start of the season so well, but with this time House leaving and it being about Amber (in a way) again, and ahhh! S good.
I actually quite like Wilson in "Locked-In" too, not more than the options above, but it was interesting to see him being rather Housian in his need to know what / where House had been up to, plus the Mary's Dress Shop exchange is such an instant classic.
Funny...today I was thinking about which episode spotlighting RSL's Wilson I loved the best--not that I'm obsessed or anything. :p
You chose two great episodes. RSL's acting was probably the best in "Wilson's Heart," but the whole story was too heartbreaking. It's hard to watch. My favorite is "The Social Contract" because it says so much about House and Wilson's relationship, and finally brings closure to what happened to Wilson's brother. However, since TSC is not listed...I will happily choose "Wilson."
Dont deny your Wilson obsession in my journal, IT'S INSULTING TO THE SHRINE!
I was going for episodes with Wilson's name on them actually. I love The Social Contract badly too, it's got some great insights on Wilson and House/Wilson. It pains me to think we might not hear about Wilson's brother or anything about that plotline on this season, where's my beloved continuity? :(
Insult the Shrine?! The Shrine of the Prettay! Never! I thought Housian snark and obsession is an appropriate form of adulation. ;)
In full agreement about comparing "Wilson's Heart" and "Wilson" in a poll. They are the likeliest contenders because of similar names and due to the number of scenes RSL is in. Just adding my musings from this morning.
Alas, who knows when the LLB will ever surface again--perhaps in a 25th anniversary reunion show? lol
You want me to choose what now? I can't decide between that! THEY'RE THE SAME GODDAMNED THING DAMNIT! Without his heart, Wilson wouldn't be Wison. *stomps feet defiantly*
P.S. Totally agree with your off topic. I was tres annoyed with all that.
Nnnnngh. I really have to choose between these two?! I just don't know! I absolutely loved the brilliance that was House's Head/Wilson's Heart. I don't cry easily at all and Wilson's Heart seriously made me tear up.
But the epicness that is Wilson?! Give me a break. So many fantastic Hilson moments and RSL was just spot-on.
...I guess I'll go with Wilson's Heart. <3
ETA: I just voted and Wilson's Heart has only got 2 votes! ;_; Hahaha. If If I had my choice, I'd vote for All In because Wilson was rocking the heeeell out of that tuxedo. Mmmm.
