Wow, that was brilliant! I love how afraid Ray is, and the scene at the water's edge is a brilliantly powerful piece of writing, both for what they show, and what they are trying to suppress. And knowing Welsh is my favorite thing in slash stories *hearts him*. You made Ray intense and frightened all the way through this section, and you keep him in character too- he doesn't become some gibbering archetype, he's still Ray, with this knowing self-awareness. The sex was hot, the guilt was achingly described, and I am totally in love with how well Ray knows Fraser, and the tease in their relationship. And he says 'I win at stealthy'! You're my new hero *g*. And ohh, the epilogue! They work so well together! Lone Ranger FTW. Hot and angsty and funny and perfect.
