Interpretive dance? Hee! *grabs popcorn and gets comfy*

Thank you so much. The language hasn't been a problem up to now, but the sex scene in this one threw me a little bit - trying to make it hot but not jarring within the tone of the story. So I'm especially pleased you thought this worked.

Thanks for reading and for always saying such very lovely things. *hugs*

I do so love this series and this is a wonderful continuation of it. I liked the details of Daniel's home and normal I life, and I have a special spot for Mrs. Treagus.

“Cailleach,” Jack muttered.

“Beelzebub,” came the quick, quiet

Hee! Love that exchange because it shows so very much about the relationship between the two characters. :)

Looking forward to the next bit.

*beams and twirls you* Thanks, Sweetie! I must admit that I was trying to think of more scenes where I could bring Mrs. Treagus in - she's a bit of a Dickensian-type cliche but SUCH fun. Maybe I could get away with writing Highwayman - The Molly Treagus Chronicles? *g*

Thank you for reading and for your comments - I really do appreciate them.

This is a wonderful story arc and I'm completely hooked.....anyone else think Mrs Treagus is a long-lost ancestor of Janet Fraser?...*snerk*...

Hee! You think she's Janet's great-great-great? Now that would be cool.

Thanks for your kind words - I'm really glad you enjoyed this.

Awwhh, Berty! I'm all filled with warm fuzzies now! What a wonderful, wonderful Xmas prezzie! Wow, I'm just so in awe of your talent... Here's hoping a little of it 'rubs off on me' by association! *grin*
Love the angst and tone of this. Really wonderful how you managed to completely capture another period, yet totally keep the Jack and Daniel we know, and love, so well. Love the housekeeper, as well. She's a corker!
I'm totally envious of your ability to write love scenes. Amazingly well done, especially with the use of period language. Incredible.
You have such a gift. I'm just glad to know you. And, consider myself very lucky that you share some of that gift, in helping me... Thank you so much for a wonderful read. Ripper
