Maybe what Spike and Andrew are talking about doesn't translate properly but they aren't talking about onion sprouts but a Blooming Onion .

Thanks for the explanation, you're right i checked it out right now and in original version they talk about something like "onion blossoms"??? Sorry, I don't understand them very clearly. ;)

Yes, an "onion blossom" is another word for "blooming onion". It all has to do with the shape the onion makes when they dunk it in the hot oil.
