"On The Beach" (the episode of ER where Dr. Greene dies) is just ending on TNT... man, this will never stop being sad. That is all.

As sad as that episode makes me (believe me, I spend 90% of the episode bawling..), I am always pissed off by the ending. The last three minutes, where the daughter unties the balloons and stares up at the sky, are SO CAMPY. ER has quality writers, they KNEW that was a bad scene.. why did they do it?! They destroyed something that would have been, otherwise, perfect.

Poor Dr. Greene.

Yeah, I actually agree. I noticed that today, and I don't think I ever really did before. It was really cliched.
