Standard black boots
I know this is not a beauty post but I was just really happy with this fashion purchase that I had to write a post about it. There's nothing like having a good shopping trip where you get what you're looking for at a really good price. So I've been looking for black boots for a while now because my old black ones from Topshop are looking a bit battered and I just know that they're about to retire soon. I'm travelling again in March and that's still really cold in the UK and The Netherlands where I'm going so I wanted to buy a replacement soon. It's the end of season sale for most shops around here so I've been scouring the sales and I found these! These are from Zara and they're ankle boots with two inch wooden heels. I find that these type of boots are the most comfortable to wear and they give me a little bit of height as well. The front part is suede and the sides have a gartered material with a little belt design. They zip on the inner sides as well. It cuts just above my ankles which is a good height because it's not too low that they look like booties or too high that they cut my legs and make them look shorter. I super, super love this. It's my first pair of boots from Zara so I hope they last a long as my Topshop ones have.
